Two denied goals and one uncounted penalty were not enough to stop KwaMashu Durban Knights FC from collecting all three points away at the Osizweni Sports Complex against Newcastle All Stars.
The Northern KZN team, Newcastle All Stars, played defiantly as the home side, but their defiance was broken by the men from KwaMashu as they ended the match as 2–1 victors.
The visiting team received three yellow cards early on in the first half, but the end of the match saw them victorious by 2–1.
The win was the third win from four matches played this season for KwaMashu Durban Knights which takes the club to 10 points already.
